Pilates Roll-Out Myofascial Release

During this challenging time, we are striving to be available to guide you through your health and wellness journey. We are excited to begin our virtual classes! You can practice and interact with your Downtown Yoga community and invite friends and family from around the world to join the class with you - ALL within the comfort of your own home! We are still working through all the kinks and make a promise that we will continue to grow, perfect and do our best to provide a variety of options so you can continue your yoga journey.

About the Class:

Join Kate for Pilates Roll-Out, Sundays 2-2:45pm

In this 45 min class, we will begin with light stretching in order to warm up the body, then we will use foam rollers to practice self myofascial release. Myofascial release is a pivotal part of recovery for those looking to decrease DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), decrease cellulite, improve mobility and circulation, gain better performance.


Recommended Equipment: Foam roller, small trigger point ball


*If you do not have a foam roller or trigger point ball at home, a small tennis ball will be an optional substitute. It is not recommended that you use a lacrosse or golf ball or anything denser.
